Experience one of Denver’s most charming neighborhoods

Denver neighborhoods have some amazing streets — each with their own unique character and appeal. I will profile some of them in my core market on this blog to give readers a feel of these neighborhoods from an inside perspective.

First up — lovely Bonnie Brae Street!

Quaint, warm and winding, Bonnie Brae Street is a standout in charming Bonnie Brae. Tucked away between the 700 and 800 blocks of S Milwaukee Street, mature trees line the streets and bird songs fill the air.

It is the kind of place you don’t fully appreciate until you visit.

Unlike other roads in the area, South Milwaukee Street winds it way northward from Bonnie Brae Boulevard to Exposition Avenue, limiting traffic to local residents.

A walk down tree-lined S Milwaukee Street offers glorious Bonnie Brae experience.

No commuters disturb the peaceful mornings or idyllic evenings. To fully appreciate the neighborhood’s quiet charm, you’ll have to experience it.

Peaceful Bonnie Brae stroll

On a stroll along the street, well-kept brick bungalows and two-story homes maintain the area’s original charm.

With something for everyone, you’ll also find custom built homes; the modern custom build at 885 S Milwaukee Street is an architectural dream and a personal favorite of mine.

Modern homes in this neighborhood blend seamlessly with its older residents. Home values range from $800,000 to over $2 million. Owners clearly know a good thing when they have one; listings on this street are few and far between.

Neighborhood residents enjoy close proximity to Bonnie Brae Park. You’ll see them walking their dogs, practicing yoga in the morning or enjoying a good book in the afternoon.

Local favorites such as Ink Coffee, Bonnie Brae Ice Cream and Wish Gifts Denver are well within walking distance, too.

915 S Clayton Way

There are no current listings on the street. However, nearby the 915 S Clayton Way, a fully remodeled single-story ranch (four bedrooms, three bathrooms and 2,903 square feet), recently listed for $950,000.
