As a real estate agent specializing in Cherry Creek and the surrounding areas, I have my ear to the ground. So when I heard at the latest Cherry Creek North Neighborhood Association meeting that Cherry Creek will get its first beer garden (a perfect area to sip summer eve suds or get cozy with some winter brew), my ears perked up!
Marriott’s spunky Moxy Hotel brand, which opened in Cherry Creek last fall, will open Cherry Creek’s first beer garden in April 2018. Located at 240 Josephine St., it will be designed to provide residents and visitors a place to have a beer, grab a bite and hang out. Denver-based real estate investment firm BMC Investments is a partner in the Denver Moxy venture.
The rustic and chic outdoor beer garden space is adjacent to the full-service hotel bar. It will have comfy couches, chairs and fireplaces. Designed to give Cherry Creek residents an authentic Denver experience, it will feature suds from local brewers. Proof that it understands its market: Dogs will always be welcome.

But that’s not all, SoulCycle is coming, too! Scheduled for an October launch, it will be the first SoulCycle in Denver. What better way to work up a thirst than a techno-rave bike workout?! I can’t think of one. It’s coming to the new luxury apartment building Saint Paul Collection (at 255 Saint Paul Street), which will feature 84 luxury apartments and 33,000 square feet of retail.
Other shops coming to Saint Paul include a fresh press juice and CB2.
Cherry Creek’s also getting its first quick-bite eatery. For those of you who know how hard it is to get a healthy, tasty meal on the go in the area, you’ll be happy (like I am!) to know that the full renovation of the Inn at Cherry Creek will bring a pedestrian-friendly marketplace similar to the one at Union Station. You’ll be able to run and grab items such as wine and cheese, wine, coffee or a sandwich. This is perfect for the area. Can’t wait!
These developments are further evidence that Cherry Creek is at a pivot point. It’s evolving from a neighborhood featuring mom-and-pop retailers to a nationally recognized community with elite restaurants, luxury fashion and home furnishing outlets and upscale lifestyle.
Strap in and get ready for the ride. I’ll keep supplying updates.
