Zane Beadles supports Denver kids and families facing life-threatening illnesses

We had a blast at the Zane Beadles Parade Partners Card kick-off event last week! In case you haven’t heard, this is event is the new Black Friday in Cherry Creek.

It supports the Zane Beadles Parade Foundation, one of my favorite Denver nonprofits and the one I’ve partnered with over the past year to raise funds for.

When you purchase a Parade Partner’s Card for $60 (all of the proceeds go to the Zane Beadles Parade Foundation), you get 20 percent off purchases at dozens of participating Cherry Creek North retail stores and many more around Denver from Oct. 26 to Nov. 4.

That’s right, 20 percent off! This is the largest discount on full-price items most participating retailers offer. It’s a win-win-win. Retailers get new customers in the door, customers get deep discounts and the Zane Beadles Parade Foundation raises much-needed money.

Kick off

The event kicked off on Thursday Oct. 25. Participants started at our office, LIV Sotheby’s International Realty in Cherry Creek.

We passed passports out to all guests that highlighted the retailers hosting cocktails for the next two hours. I want to thank Debora Syke of LIV Sotheby’s International Realty for partnering with me on this event. Also, a huge shout out and thank you to Dalton O’Brien and Finance of America for their generous support of this event.

Also, Ferrari of Denver displayed a dreamy new Ferrari. Not only does the Ferrari have four seats, but also has a ski rack! What more could you want in Colorado? I’m not a huge car enthusiast, but this was impressive.

A souped-up Ferrari, with ski rack, from Ferrari of Denver helped kick off the Parade Partners Card event.

Zane Beadles Parade Foundation founder and former Denver Bronco Zane Beadles was on-site to promote the foundation and to support the retailers.

Zane Beadles

He signed a football for my 4-year-old son Dillon who hasn’t put the football down since. He’s been practicing his routes, grips and spirals all weekend. Today, he woke up, came running down the stairs, football in hand saying, “Mom, catch!”

Now, my son has been introduced the Zane Beadles Parade Foundation, which helps kids with life-changing medical conditions. We talked about the foundation, perhaps over time Dillon will realize he is lucky to be a healthy kid. I know Zane and his crew were visiting Brent’s Place the following day to reach out to to kids and families receiving medical treatment.

Here’s to a successful week of the Parade Partner’s Card!
