A contemporary stunner and off-market sale highlight this week’s roundup.
We all know that Cherry Creek is changing, and listings have a tendency to make a splash, and also reveal how the things are shifting.
Because it’s one of my core markets — and because I truly love it — I keep a close eye on it. So I want to share its real estate journey with you here.

3710 E 5th Avenue — six beds, five baths, $1.69 million
I love this contemporary half duplex with stunning architecture. Built by Forte Homes in 2015, it is a dramatic gem in this ‘hood.
The third floor loft-like living space has serious potential, featuring a glass, overhead garage door and wraparound deck with fire pit. The entire home is filled with light and a unique aesthetic.
510 Monroe Street — 4 beds, 5.5 baths, $2.35 million
This stunning single-family home sold off-market in December at $2.35 million in December.
Other single family homes with similar square footage and price point ($1.8 million — $2.9 million) have hung around on the market for an average of eight months!

401 S Garfield Street — 4 beds, 6 baths, $3.1 million
Although outside of Cherry Creek North, this is a notable sale. South of Cherry Creek and north of Belcaro sits a private enclave of homes. Homes here boast a cosmopolitan Spanish flare.
The home was completed in 2018 and designed by renowned architect Alvarez Morris, the same architect tapped for the controversial 201 Garfield residential redevelopment.
A sophisticated mix of traditional and modern, it caught the top recent sale in the community at price of $3.1 million. The highest ever sold home in the community had 58 percent more square feet!
