Congratulations to my wonderful client Ashley Cleveland who just closed on her new 1,550-square-foot, three-bedroom, two-bath townhouse (with a loft!) in Denver’s western suburb of Lakewood!
As we all know, hunting for a home in the Denver area right now is a bit like finding a ticket to a hot show at Red Rocks this summer: you have to be early, persistent and, perhaps, a bit lucky. The Avett Brothers three-evening stand in early summer is already sold out, for example.
Ashley was looking for a home near her downtown Denver work, Sloan’s Lake and her favorite workout studio, Orange Theory.
After evaluating a few single-family homes on Denver’s west side, we quickly realized that she would find a more updated and turnkey home by shifting her search to condos and townhomes.
We toured townhomes in the Denver suburbs of Westminster, Arvada and Lakewood. Eventually, we found her recently renovated townhouse, which came with a loft, a big selling point for Ashley, as it will become her art studio!
One of the Lakewood location’s chief assets is its proximity to a light rail station that provides a quick, seamless trip to downtown Denver. Ashley is just a short walk from the station!
While under contract, I helped Ashley negotiate a few significant seller’s concessions, which helped her enter her home in a great financial position. With two additional units under contract in the same complex, Ashley finds herself not only with a great home, but one already growing in value.
